One woman has left the world dumbfounded after making claims that her love for true crime series must be passed on to her children. For this reason, she has decided to name her child after one of the world’s most notorious serial killers. Now, she’s causing a stir among her family members and friends.
Many have opted against the idea and even gone as far as to call her out for the act, but no matter how much criticism she faces, she refuses to back down. And that has people talking.
Her sister is finding it hard to digest the news and feels naming a child is not a joke. It’s about setting them up for success and failure in the world and no sane parent would ever want a child to be famous by a criminal’s name, right?
Taking to the Reddit platform by storm, the woman mentioned how it’s just a baffling ordeal, so to speak. She just does not know how to tell her sister to rename her baby’s name or else she fears it would ruin his life forever.
The serial killer is famous in Columbia where the family lives. But no matter what, she thinks it’s the worst possible idea but does not wish to hurt her sister’s feelings.
“I know she’s so excited about the baby’s arrival and we are too. But the thought of having to take his name over and over again, knowing well that he was named after someone who became infamous for killing people is bothering me”- she added.
