One mother is being called out for her ruthless behavior that involved dunking her three-month-old child into the lake as her other children watched on.
Witnesses spoke about the horror that unfolded before them, adding that they tried to stop her but it was in vain. Seeing her violently dunk the baby in the lake was nothing short of a horror scene, one witness explained.
The mother who lives in Ohio was arrested shortly after that, while desperate efforts were made to rescue the child who drowned in the lake.
The suspect was identified as 39-year-old mom Sharon Rose O’Hara who continued to bang on a car seat on the ground at the Caesar Creek State Park. The infant remained strapped inside while shocked onlookers spoke to the police.
She then started to gain more aggression out of nowhere and before they knew it, she brought the car seat out with the child inside over towards the lake at the park.
The mother started to slam the child against the water, as reported by WXIX. The witnesses feared for the lives of the other child so tried their best to intervene. Thankfully, the cops arrived at the right time but the child couldn’t be saved.
