A miracle has recently been reported from an open field in Louisiana after a baby was reportedly found alive and healthy despite being abandoned by his mother.
Sources from local media outlets revealed how the baby did not appear to be injured and was neither taken to a local hospital after being found.
The incident took place in Baton Rouge in Louisiana recently as it has been confirmed how the child’s mother had reportedly suffered from a series of medical issues and for that reason, there are certainly no charges being pressed against her.
It was the mother who actually assisted the cops in finding the young child as the authorities carried out an urgent search for the missing 8-month-old child.
The authorities revealed how the mom guided them to the same exact spot that she had left him.
Moreover, they revealed the exact location to be Plank Road, near the Saintsville COGIC.
For precautionary reasons, the baby was taken to the hospital for a full checkup where he was recently declared heathy and well.
The investigation into the ongoing case is currently pending as police try to determine the exact details about the mother’s wellbeing and why she was forced to do something as severe as leaving her own child in the middle of the fields.
Authorities also confirmed how the search for the missing baby lasted for hours and it involved a series of teams that included the fire department, hospital staff, ambulance service, Parish Search and Rescue, and the East Baton Rouge Coroner’s Office as well.
“We were the ones able to bring the mom to the scene as city police officials took the mother and instructed her to pinpoint the child’s whereabouts. The area was near a church” mentioned one officer from the Baton Rouge Fire Department.
