Sofia Vergara says she never wished to be an old mother in her life.
But now, she has to speak about how that could have been one of the leading causes of her split from her former partner.
Sofia Vergara says being an old mother would be so unfair to the child and that is just not something she is willing to do right now. “I have my priorities set since day one and I am committed to sticking to those”- she mentioned.
The news about the pair’s split shook some people. They had difficulty understanding how anyone would find this kind of behavior right.
This is the first time that the star says that her reason for divorce was related to Joe’s desire to have more kids. “I just did not and could not do this”- she added.
The Modern Family star added how she does respect people’s thoughts on the matter and that it was a private discussion that is none of anyone’s business.
“It does not need to be this way. It’s a personal matter and I want the world to know that everything is good in the hood and that some decisions were taken because they were necessary”- she explained.
Vergara and her former husband were adored by the masses but the star says she was entering the age of menopause and had to think accordingly.
“It’s important to understand that you cannot make irresponsible decisions and let kids reap the effects”- she explained.
“This is my era to be a grandmother and I would like to keep it in that manner. Fans have praised the actress for being so upfront and honest and not taking on the role of having kids again. Do you agree?
