Bruce Willis’ wife Emma Heming is fighting back her tears as she opens up about the actor’s brutal struggle with dementia.
She claims that it’s hard to even know if the star is aware of what’s taking place and the great many changes that he is going through. And that just breaks her heart into a million pieces, she added.
The heartbreaking update has left so many fans upset for obvious reasons. And they’ve been in that very same boat for quite some time now, requesting her for more updates about the star’s condition for so long.
On Monday, she was seen fighting back tears while speaking further on the condition. Moreover, she spoke more in detail about how she and the rest of the family were coping with both grief and sadness and how it was generally a sad endeavor.
“Nobody ever wants to see their husband succumb to disease”- she added, wiping away more tears.
But she also mentioned how beautiful of a feeling it was to see her two young daughters witness it all including caring for her dad.
“What I am learning from all of this so far is that dealing with dementia is super hard while appearing on the Today Show for NBC Studio.
She further shed light on how it’s not only super hard on the respective patient but equally hard on so many others whom they surround, especially the family members who are too young to comprehend what’s taking place.
The star’s wife showed up to the leading media outlet to have her say on the matter. She revealed more about the condition in honor of World Frontotemporal Dementia Awareness Week.
This is reportedly her first interview since the diagnosis and she called it both a blessing and a curse for her.
