Actor Alec Baldwin has slammed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins’ family for suing while accusing them of being money motivated.
The celeb revealed how the killed cinematographer’s family and others were now using legal means to hold him responsible for her death, adding how they all had one common motive in mind. And that is to gain as much money out of him as possible.
The news comes at a time when so many people have filed lawsuits relating to negligence against him, in regards to the fatal shooting that took place on the film set of Rust.
“They are all deep pocket litigants”- he revealed in a recent interview.
In the same way, the star actor was quick to shed light upon how the plaintiffs involved in the case were all financially motivated, adding how there were only two real victims in this shooting incident.
On the other hand, the actor seemed to be confident and hopeful about how he personally won’t be held criminally responsible for the tragic shooting that killed one person and injured another.
The horrifying incident took place in October when renowned cinematographer Halyna Hutchins passed away after a bullet was fired through the hands of the actor, who did not know there were live rounds inside the gun.
Since the cinematographer’s tragic death, Baldwin and a few other people that were a part of the film’s production set are now being slapped with lawsuits, including a very public one made by the deceased victim’s family.
The actor could be seen addressing this tragic incident during the recent Boulder International Film Festival that is being held in Colorado at the moment.
“When the facts come out, I hope that I will not be held criminally responsible for the shooting that had taken place”- the star concluded.
