Bam Margera has turned himself in after the police launched a manhunt for the troubled Jackass star.
The 43-year-old stunt performer and skateboarder went on a run after allegedly attacking his brother during a domestic dispute at his $ 1.1 million Pennsylvania castle.
According to the reports, Margera fled his home with his girlfriend and her daughter after his brother, Jess, called the police and claimed that the troubled actor beat him and left him a note in which he threatened to “kill his entire family.”
The suspect was then charged with three misdemeanor counts and the Pennsylvania State Police launched a manhunt when Margera was nowhere to be found after a warrant for his arrest was issued.
Now, after being on the run for four days, Margera turned himself and blamed the drama on his brother.
Sharing a photo showing him holding his paperwork outside the Chester County courthouse, Margera wrote:
“I just got out of the courthouse with my lawyers. Everything went great and the false accusations of what my brother says are not true and he will be sued for defamation as well as being evicted from castle bam sooner than later.
“The reason this happened is because I read his phone saying he wants me back in California and he wants to find a way to 302 me. F*** him.”
Meanwhile, Margera’s attorney, Michael van der Veen, insisted that “the real facts will come out” soon.
“Mr. Margera enjoys all of his constitutional rights, including the presumption of innocence. The wild rumors regarding his behavior this week are absolutely false. He is in good health and in good spirits,” the lawyer said.
Responding to Margera’s social media post, Jess suggested his brother always blames people close to him for his own shortcomings.
“Yeah this meltdown I guess is my fault now. It’s always someone else’s fault,” he said.
Another source close to the family also told TMZ that Margera, who has allegedly been struggling with drug and alcohol addiction, made “intoxicated” calls to his family in which he blamed them for putting him in a treatment center before he turned himself in.
Margera has since pleaded not guilty to three misdemeanor charges and was released on a $50,000 bail.
