Singing sensation Shakira wants the world to know that the Barbie movie was certainly not her cup of tea.

The leading celeb added how the film was beyond emasculating after revealing her sons hated it.

The news has left a bizarre feeling with fans who felt that perhaps her criticism was a little much and a little too late. But the Latina songstress certainly did not hold back when it came down to providing her reviews.

Shakira added during a recently held interview how there was no denial of the fact that the Barbie movie was a cultural phenomenon and while it did manage to click with some, the same was not the case for all.

Today, it’s deemed to be one of the highest-grossing movies of all time with the claiming to be a huge success for the year of 2023 cinema.

But it did come with its fair share of controversies where some just failed to relate in terms of what was being shown as some commentators mentioned that the message and script were a bit much.

“I am raising two boys and I want them to feel empowered in life while also respecting women along the way. But that is not something she saw coming in the film and therefore is now giving her strong review.
