Tragic reports have confirmed a woman’s death in Sierra County, where she was attacked by a giant black bear.
According to officials, the incident took place after the giant beast stalked the woman for months, forcing her to live in absolute fear for so long.
Patric Miller was found dead inside her Downieville home and her cause of death was outlined to be a bear attack.
A sheriff’s deputy mentioned how Miller was found dead at her home while carrying out a welfare check after one grocery store employee reported that she was not seen for days, despite being a routine customer.
The sheriff’s office mentioned how they found Miller dead at her home, and it was clear that a bear had been inside her home. But some officials claim the victim died of natural causes and the bear broke into her home after her death and fed on her remains.
The bear was eventually found, trapped, and then euthanized as per reports from the Sheriff’s Department.
After the investigation, it was revealed how she was living in fear of the giant animal for so long. Her loved ones are heartbroken to hear the news, while others hoped she had made the authorities aware of what was going on, just in time to capture the bear.
