A mother from Minnesota who beat cancer has passed away while skydiving in Arizona after experiencing parachute complications.
Sources from local media outlets have confirmed that the victim’s name is Ann Wick who is 54. She was so excited for her skydiving trip.
Little did she know that this fun would be short-lived. Ann Wick started to skydive at the Skydive Arizona in Eloy with a group when the fatal event arose.
Her parachute became twisted after it was rolled out and was not able to trigger her emergency one as per local reports from the police.
Her brother shared how the cause of the failure was abrupt and not anticipated. It failed to function the right way and suddenly got tangled.
Therefore, she couldn’t release this and get the emergency chute out. As per the paramedics, they were already at the scene for a training phase but rushed to help after she crashed.
Skydrive Arizona is extending their heartfelt condolences to the victim’s family and friends during this very difficult time.
