Ainsworth’s mom, who is Sally, shared the tragic news through a post on social media. She had previously shared an urgent appear for more information regarding her son’s whereabouts after losing all contact with the missing war veteran.

 

She previously shared how her son was suffering from an episode of post-traumatic stress disorder and had only recently published a post through his Facebook account to say goodbye.

To be the bearer of the devastating news, she shared how her beloved son was found dead. ‘With great sadness, the world has lost Craig,’ the post read.

She also spoke about his great achievements, including serving in the armed forces in the war against Afghanistan, and also how he battled it all despite suffering from PTSD.
