Fury arose recently when Miss America hosted its recent pageant and awarded the top position to a 19-year-old trans woman.
The news certainly didn’t go down too well with many people who felt that she did not deserve to win and was indeed stealing away all opportunities that belonged to female contestants.
Then in the month of April, we will again see the business management student compete against a series of other local title holders for the position of Miss New Hampshire 2023.
After that, the winner of that particular round would be seen going on to participate in the bigger and better Miss America pageant that would occur later on. But with that good does come the bad and it’s how the matter is being called out as highly rooted in controversy for various reasons.

For starters, a winner from 1998 who hails from Great Britain mentioned that it was not okay and she was so disappointed to see Brian Nguyen be crowned. “I worked so hard to attain those titles”- she says, brushing away the limelight of the others taking part.
Another spoke about how there was a lot of glitz and glamour on the surface but such competitions really require additional effort and hard work. And then another harsh one says that it was as if she was beaten by a large biological male. What do you think?
