The FBI has launched an urgent search for a little girl who went missing 22 days back.
According to reports from local media outlets, the authorities were beyond baffled when the parents of the missing child went about reporting her as missing after 22 days since she was last seen.
As suspected, the parents of the victim are being taken into custody because it’s definitely a confusing incident to have a child missing for so long and with no urgent requests or complaints sent out to the authorities.
Similarly, the FBI was seen releasing the latest video of the young girl who hailed from North Carolina.
Sources revealed that at the moment, the mega search is being conducted at a nearby lake that’s located on the northern side of Charlotte.
It’s also interesting how the parents reported her missing to the school and not directly to the authorities. They claim to have last seen their only child on November 22. And that is just a little hard for any person to believe.
As investigations into the matter continue, the cops are yet to reveal what excuse the parents have given for their bizarre behavior. This includes that seen by the child’s mom and her stepdad.
Hence, they’ve been arrested and are now being questioned to see what answers they provide and if they actually do add up to the pieces of the puzzle.
The expanded search comes as the FBI vowed to find the little girl. “There is absolutely nothing we won’t do to help find the victim who went missing 22 days back. This is why they are also searching for a lake as they feel it’s the area closest to where the school bus stopped and the little girl got off.
