Beverly Hills, 90210 and Port Charles actor David Gail passed away suddenly at the age of just 58.
The beloved actor was best known for playing the fiancé of Brenda Walsh, played by Shannen Doherty, on the 1990s show about a group of friends navigating through their early adulthood.
Besides his role on the series, Gail also appeared in a variety of other TV shows including Port Charles, Savannah, Matlock, The Round Table, Murder, She Wrote, JAG, and Doogie Howser.
Film-wise, the actor secured roles in the likes of Some Girl (1998), Bending All the Rules (2002), Perfect Opposites (2004), and The Belly of the Beast (2008).
Gail’s passing was confirmed by David’s longtime friend Peter Ferriero who failed to disclose details such as the cause of death.
“In memory of David Gail. Here are a few stories he shared when he joined the podcast,” Ferriero wrote as he shared an emotional clip on social media.
He continued: “David was a kind human. Someone I wish I spoke to more. He was filled of life and incredible stories. I am grateful I got to know. I am so saddened for your loss, and the world’s loss. He was a gift to us all.”
Breaking her silence was also Katie Colmenares, Gail’s sister, who shared a tear-jerking tribute to her brother.
“There’s barely been even a day in my life when you were not with me by my side always my wingman always my best friend ready to face anything and anyone w me,” she penned.
“The bears will never be the same but I will hold you so tight every day in my heart you gorgeous loving amazing fierce human being missing you every second of every day forever there will never be another.”
