Luke Bryan is weighing in on Beyonce not getting much love at this year’s Country Music Awards.
Despite having her debut album jump to number one and top the charts, it was astonishing for fans to see her not even receive a single nomination.
Many fans felt the incident was not fair and called out the organizers for snubbing the queen of RnB who has ventured into the category of country music.
However, country star Luke Bryan has plenty to state on the matter. According to him, Beyonce’s album was fabulous and certainly got much love which it deserved.
At the same time, to be nominated needed more work as she’s a newbie and if she does plan on getting nominated, she needs to make the conscious decision to shift to this side of the fence and not just dip her feet and walk away.
‘If you want to make country albums, come into our world and be country with us a little bit’- the famous singer mentioned during an Andy Cohen Live interview.
He went on to add that Beyonce is one of the biggest stars in the industry and can do whatever she feels is right. But in this case, he thinks coming to an award show and high-fiving is not enough. You need to get to know the family more and be familiar with them all.
