Joe Biden did not hold back in his first public speech since stepping down as president of the USA.
He slammed Trump’s administration and Elon Musk for what he called a brutal dismantling of Social Security.
Speaking during the disability rights conference in Chicago on April 15th, Biden was seen taking aim at the changes getting pushed through by the current administration.
They accused them of getting the benefits of the program and breaking what he called a sacred promise to the American people.
In less than 100 days, the latest administration has done a lot of damage and caused so much destruction. It’s all said to be breathtaking for many’- Biden mentioned.
He then shared how he had no doubts in his mind that Trump was dividing the nation instead of making America great again.
‘We cannot go on like this as a divided country. We’ve been doing it for a while now and it’s never been divided to this extent,’ he mentioned.The event marked Biden’s return to the public eye since leaving the office.
He was in a calm, quiet, and hushed voice. He also reflected on his childhood before diving into the core of his message.
