President Joe Biden has caused an uproar among MAGA Republicans after blasting Donald Trump and his supporters in a fiery speech.
Addressing fellow Americans from behind a bullet-proof glass outside Philadelphia’s Independence Hall, the 46th US President doubled down on his harsh rhetoric against the former president and his MAGA followers.
“Equality and democracy are under assault. We do ourselves no favor to pretend otherwise,” Biden declared as he urged Americans to “vote, vote, vote” in the November congressional elections.
“Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represented extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic,” he raged on.
“There’s no question that the Republican party today is dominated, driven and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans.
“And that is a threat to this country. Too much of what’s happening in our country today is not normal.”
Biden went on to accuse Republicans of disrespecting the Constitution and the rule of law as he lashed out at those who opposed the results of the presidential election.
“You can’t love your country only when you win,” he said.
While his speech appeared to be ignored by most major networks, the anti-Republican rant was broadcasted by MSNBC and CNN.
Speaking of the upcoming election in November, the president warned that a dystopian society will be in the making should Republicans win the Congress and the House.
“MAGA forces are determined to take this country backwards; backwards to an America where there is no right to choose no right to privacy, no right to contraception, no right to marry who you love,” the 79-year-old Democrat claimed.
“They promote authoritarian leaders and they fanned the flames of political violence that are a threat to our personal rights, to the pursuit of justice to the rule of law, to the very soul of this country.”
He continued: “They see their MAGA failure to stop a peaceful transfer of power after the 2020 election as preparation for the 2022 and 2024 elections. They’ve tried everything last time to notify the votes of 81 million people.
“This time they’re determined to succeed at thwarting the will of the people.”
Concluding his fiery rhetoric against Republicans, Biden urged the people to “speak up, speak out, and vote” while vowing not to let “wild conspiracy theories” overcome the will of the Americans.
