Nothing that happens in the Royal family can stay private for too long and the recent thoughtful gesture by Will and Kate toward Meghan Markle wasn’t welcomed by all.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were seen sending out a bunch of warm and loving birthday greetings to Meghan Markle through their account on Twitter. And while it may sound like the loveliest deed, it certainly wasn’t welcomed by all.
The incident has sparked outrage and fury amongst many as a number of Royal fans felt the move was a double standard of what they really felt about her.
Meanwhile, some spoke about how Meghan didn’t deserve a wish from the Cambridges, considering the way she’s been seen dissing them on every public platform, including the bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey that took place last year.
In case you aren’t aware, tensions are certainly there between Kate and Meghan and Will and Harry. And while many royal insiders continue to remain hush about the feud, it was very evident at this year’s high-profile jubilee event for the Queen.
The message from the Royals to Meghan was sent through the couple’s Kennsington Official account and that is what led to instant fury.
The beautiful text comprised a loving image of Meghan Markle beaming with her big smile and donning a stellar outfit complete with a hat. It was captioned with: “Wishing a happy birthday to the Duchess of Sussex!”
As you can see, there is nothing doubtful or wrong with the short and sweet message but even then, the uproar was plenty.
One person wrote about how Will and Kate also prove their the better ones by taking the high road while another said it was a pure act of class and grace.
On the other hand, another furious viewer felt that Meghan Markle certainly didn’t deserve this sort of kindness or any wish in general and many agreed.
