The black box recording from a Brazilian flight that caused the death of all 62 people on board revealed the final words of the co-pilot.
Harrowing screams and haunting sounds were also reported as mentioned by the country’s leading local news outlet.
The passenger jet smashed near Sao Paulo, the south of Brazil after enduring a death spin, witnessed by locals as ‘falling from the sky’. This is right before it burst into flames after a loud explosion could be heard from a distance.
There were no survivors on board and the footage from the crash site showed how the plane stalled in the air before falling to the ground.
While the black box did fail to identify the exact cause of the crash, it was heartbreaking to learn that a technical fault was behind the crash and it was so abrupt that no mayday call could be generated.
‘What is going on?’- the copilot asked as the pilot panicked. It was clear that there was no turning back as they were losing altitude too fast and needed more power to be stabilized.
The channel also claims to have obtained a transcript of the black box recording. This was equal to two hours of audio and while the transcript isn’t public yet, it’s certainly heartbreaking to know the details.
