Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were pictured casually strolling through the streets of New York City.
The Hollywood A-listers looked content as they walked arm-in-arm in the Big Apple on Tuesday, just a day after the Deadpool star celebrated his 47th birthday.
For the occasion, the actor sported grey pants and a grey jacket over a white T-shirt. He completed his looks with a pair of shades and a light-grey hat.
Meanwhile, the Gossip Girl star donned an all-blue ensemble including a navy blue coat, jeans, blue sweatshirt, and a blue handbag that was hanging over her shoulder.
The sighting comes a day after Reynolds was surprised by a once-in-a-lifetime gift from his close friend and actor Rob McElhenney.
The It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star decided to honor Ryan by naming an entire park after him. The local park is located in Wrexham, Wales, and will from now on be known as the ‘Ryan Rodney Reynolds Park.’
The official website has since confirmed that the news was real and much more than just a prank.
“Parks & Wrex are delighted to introduce the soon to be renamed Ryan Rodney Reynolds Memorial Park. This community space located in the heart of Wrexham will be a place for the public to gather, grow, and play,” the announcement read.
“Working in close partnership with Wrexham County Borough Council, we’re beautifying the park in the coming months to be a reflection of the spirit of Wrexham and Wales. And we’re renaming it. Probably something Welsh, not Canadian.”
Touched by the sweet gesture, Reynolds responded to McElhenney by saying: “I’m grateful to you for eternity. You’ve completely and totally outdone yourself.”
Rob and Ryan are currently also proud co-owners of the Wrexham A.F.C. football club.
