Actor Ryan Reynolds was seen filing a new motion to dismiss Justin Baldoni’s $400M defamation lawsuit against him that arose from the It Ends With Us director’s feud with his partner Blake Lively.
Baldoni sued Reynolds and Lively in January after the actress’s legal battle against him where she accused him of harassment and rolling out a public smear campaign against her.
In the defamation lawsuit, Renolds mentioned a point where he privately called him a s*xual predator and worked to his talent agency to drop him.
Reynolds’ lawyers said he could not have defamed Baldoni because Reynolds genuinely feels the director is a predator in real life.
Reynolds also highlighted how Baldoni has openly spoken about his past including how he mistreated women and pushed the boundaries linked to consent.
The lawyer of Reynolds says that the claims made in the lawsuit are nothing but a host of grievances that the celeb has against the star because his wife sued him for his erratic behavior. The team concluded the statements by mentioning how much they look forward to seeing the case against Reynolds dismissed very soon.
