The Tony Awards were recently held but it wouldn’t be wrong to mention how the organizers weren’t left smiling after the piles of criticism they received on Sunday.
The event’s Red Carpet was far from perfect and while things did go smoothly on stage, many cannot forget the mess taking place otherwise.
Sarah Paulson was said to be nearly body-checked by the event’s security and plenty of A-listers were left waiting in a huge line, just so they could be interviewed. Did we mention how the heat certainly made matters worse?
It’s worth mentioning that nothing went as planned and people couldn’t help but speak about how tired they were becoming of this all.
Several different sources mentioned how it was chaos and one of the worst Red Carpet of their entire careers.
After waiting, attendees had to face organizers going to the extent of shutting down the carpet early before providing any valid reason for doing so.
If the drama was not enough, Paulson arrived and ended up winning a Tony for the ‘Appropriate’ category that got bopped along the way.
Another added how it was a butchery event where security guards stretched their arms to stop anyone from moving. Another loud voice was heard from a distance when the guard mentioned that the ‘carpet was closed’ and the tone used was necessarily aggressive.
‘No one tried to be rude or behaved out of line. But it’s not quite clear why so much chaos and drama had to take place here’- another source went on to explain.
