Singer Beyonce just sparked some major controversy on social media after raising eyebrows with her performance.
The star was seen putting up a gun gesture while performing at the half-time NFL show on Christmas Day.
The R&B superstar entertained her fans at the NRG stadium inside her home state of Texas where local side Houston Texans played the Baltimore Ravens during a game that provoked a lot of anger before her live set.
The home side was comprehensively outplayed by the visiting Ravens ahead of the initial appearance on a white horse. This was an equine theme running across the cover art from her previous two albums.
The singer left herself open to great criticism by making that gun gesture featuring two fingers while performing her hit track Texas Hold’Em.
There was also a banner stating the single term BANG behind Beyonce where she stood on a piece that was certainly erected.
The very controversial gesture is now getting banned by the NFL with the resulting 15-yard penalty for any offensive player.
Some even went as far as to accuse the singer of trying to reduce the spotlight on her husband’s r*pe case by performing this show with daughter Blue Ivy.
