Booking plane tickets is an art and you have to go the extra mile to make sure everything is per your standards.
This next story is about a woman who is suffering from obesity and therefore she had to make sure that things were as per the airline’s requirements.
The woman explained how a mother wished to have her child seated and as soon as she found out that there was a chair next to her that was not occupied yet, then she sat her child down.
Now there was an obese passenger who booked two seats. so that she could fit in easily. But what she did not realize was that the seat would be less for her and more for another.
She tried to make her realize that the seat was not for fun purposes but for a certain reason. This had to do with the fact that her size did not give her the capability to sit in one place.
“I’m large, I paid extra, and the last thing I need is someone to come forward and tell me that I should be allowing their child to sit in a seat that belongs to me”- the obese passenger continued.
The airline was seen offering the extra seat option so everyone could benefit. Being told to squeeze into one seat is just not her cup of tea. And she made people understand that it’s best that they kept a distance from her for this reason only.
“To accommodate her son, I would never do this. Why should I?”- she went on to explain and just like that, the debate continued.
“As time goes on, I am making progress. I want to be able to fly out like normal individuals. But as I do this, I need flyers to understand that they just cannot assume that I give my seats for the sake of their comfort!”- the woman explained.
