A Miami-bound flight was hit with severe turbulence that left passengers injured and shocked.
According to reports from local media outlets, the passengers are now giving a real-time account of what really went on, including how one female was sent crashing through the ceiling.
The number of incidents involving turbulence continue to rise as we speak and experts are now weighing in on the consequences of what’s taking place.
This includes how one man sitting next to another passenger was also knocked out after slamming against the aircraft.
Sammy Solstad who hails from Sweden but lives in Florida adds how he was traveling on the flight back home with his partner when the plane was struck by air currents over Greenland.
The SAS flight SK957 fell close to 8000 feet in just a few minutes as the turbulence arose. Flight trackers showed that the impact was so massive that the pilot of the aircraft made the bold decision to u-turn and turn the plane back towards Europe, which again took five hours.
Some recording captured the moment that the plane plunged with their phones. Loud screams and panic filled the air as others started to grip their seats.
Another man spoke about how he was sleeping but got up to see the nightmarish scenes before him. He called it very bumpy and scary at the same time.
