Khelif was once the center of attention of a bitter storm during the Olympics last year. And now, she’s wanting to make sure that she’s got her eyes on the prize with the right training and transformation.

Both boxers, and her Taiwanese counterpart Lin Yu-Ting, were forced to exit the championship at another leading boxing event in the same year, but not the Olympics.

Therefore, their participation rubbed many the wrong way.

Both boxers were told to exit as the authorities at the International Boxing Federation felt that, after failing gender eligibility tests, there was no reason or excuse for them to stay.

As the debate continued to have them exit from the Olympics too, both of them got global criticism, especially after they were seen advancing to the final rounds.

Khelif shared how she’s planning on competing at the Olympics in the US at a heavier weight class, which means she really needs to transform herself and her body to prepare for the upcoming championship.
