A five-year-old child was reportedly killed in a horror crash when he was traveling back from church with his loving grandparents.
According to reports from local media outlets, the boy was killed when an 18-wheeler vehicle struck his grandparents’ vehicle while they were going home from church.
The incident took place near Matehuala which is located between San Luis Potosi and Monterrey in Mexico. The victim was identified as little Zachary Reyna who died just before he was all set to begin his kindergarten journey.
His family was waiting for his return in Texas but little did they know that they would never be able to see his face again.
Meanwhile, the child’s seven-year-old brother and a student at his school were also present. Thankfully they survived but the horror of seeing little Zachary die before their eyes will remain forever.
The accident featured a rollover crash and happened during the morning hours of August 4. The children remained did arrive at his home for loved ones to bid farewell to, one last time, after five days since the accident took place.
A funeral service for the youngster was planned in the previous week. His grandparents also sustained injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital in San Luis Potosi where the boy’s mother frantically drove to Mexico, after learning about the son’s fate.
