Bradey Cooper reportedly left a press conference in a hurry after receiving a worrying call from his daughter’s school nurse.
The 48-year-old Hollywood icon was holding a press conference for his movie Maestro on Thursday afternoon when he left the New York venue immediately after receiving a call from 6-year-old Lea’s school nurse.
“So sorry. The school nurse just called me. Can I just leave the room for a second to call them back and you can keep going. Is that all right?” the actor told the press some twenty minutes into the conference.
After returning to the stage a few minutes later, The Hangover star insisted he had to leave early because his daughter needed him.
“I have to go to the school to do something with Lea that needs… I have to apply something that they won’t allow…. I have to do it, so it’s like a 10 minute walk,” he explained.
It currently remains unclear what the emergency call from the school nurse was about. Bradley is yet to break his silence over the incident.
This comes just a week after Bradley, who shares custody of Lea with ex Irina Shayk, was spotted walking with his daughter in New York while on dad duty.
Days before the sighting, the young girl also supported her father as they appeared side by side at the Maestro film premiere. The event served as Lea’s red carpet debut.
For the occasion, the actor looked dapper in a black suit while his daughter rocked a leopard print Dolce & Gabbana dress and a black and red bag across her shoulder.
