Three high school students from Massachusetts lost their lives after their SUV struck a tractor-trailer during the Florida Spring Break vacation.
Jimmy McIntosh, Maisay O’Donnell, and Hannah Wasserman passed away in the collision on Highway 98 just west of Watersound Parkway near Panama City just before 9:30 pm on Monday.
All three of the victims were seniors at the Concord-Carlisle High School, which is nearly 25 miles from Boston, and reportedly all were just 18 in age.
The Volkswagen SUV was carrying six teens, and that’s when, all of a sudden, it veered off the roadway and hit a tree near the shoulder in West Marin in California.
As per the authorities, four people passed away and two were left injured.
In a letter shared with the community, the Tamalpais Union High School District confirmed that the six victims included Archie Williams High School students.
The school has since shared a heartbreaking tribute for the victims where they claim, ‘Our hearts are with the families of the four beautiful young souls who are lost far too soon!’
The mother of one of the crash survivors says she is heartbroken to know her daughter’s friends didn’t make it, and feels the pain as if she lost her own.
