Hannah Kobayashi explained to her family members that she does not wish to return to the state of Hawaii.
The news comes after she was declared safe earlier at the start of the week after her family released missing reports about her to the police.
The 31-year-old reportedly made a lot of contact with relatives on Wednesday to explain to them that she was doing fine after disappearing from LA International Airport in November.
Her partner Sydni broke her silence on the matter after being found. They rolled out a statement and tried their best to clear up any kind of confusion that may be present right now.
In that, she explained how her mother did not physically see Hannah. However, they don’t have any real proof about her location, other than traces of information about her being located in Mexico.
They also shared how they did manage to speak to her on the phone and that’s where she stated that she’s fine and well and living with her aunt.
At the moment, she has no intentions of returning to the US. The statement also went on to detail how difficult it’s been for the family to receive all this publicity which is not something they asked for or signed up for.
A lot of family members felt there should have been a different way to handle the situation to avoid all the public drama taking place right now.
