After making the headlines a little while back for participating in a Las Vegas wedding, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have now officially tied the knot at a ceremony held in Santa Barbara.
According to local media reports, the couple could be seen exchanging vows while gazing into each other’s eyes recently.
But surprisingly, none of the other Kardashian sisters were pictured at the event nor was the bride’s mother, Kris Jenner. But Kourtney was seen hand in hand with her grandmother named MJ who stood by her throughout the intimate ceremony.
Kourtney chose a rather unusual attire to celebrate her big day comprised of a mini bridal frock in white. This came with a proper veil too.
Travis Barker’s dad, Randy was also pictured at the event. After officially getting married, Travis and Kourtney made their way toward a black-toned vintage vehicle that was actually a convertible.
Sources claim that for the couple to actually take part in their big fat Italian wedding that is scheduled to happen soon, they needed to officially tie the knot before embarking on that journey.
The couple was pictured moments later having a mega celebratory feast at a famous restaurant in Montecito.
It was also quite appalling for many to see the absence of Kourtney Kardashian’s children from the event.
Many suspected a wedding was on the cards soon after the couple got married in Las Vegas without a marriage license. This came months after the couple got engaged in October, which was recorded and shown to fans on the latest series of Keeping up with the Kardashians.
Social media was abuzz after images from the ceremony made their way online.
Fans were disappointed for a number of reasons, including how the celeb chose to exclude her whole family.Meanwhile, others had their eyes on her mini dress which received equal criticism for being age-inappropriate and too tight and uncomfortable to look at.
