A mother of two is turning heads after ending her 18-year-long marriage with a broken heart.
While the heartbreak and pain may have been a lot for anyone to go through, she is now currently living her best life as a single mother. And let’s not forget how she feels fabulous on the inside while looking stunning on the outside.
The woman named Emma Sheppard hails from Blackpool in England and says she split from her husband of 18 years in the year 2020. For her, the thought of divorce was just too much.
Emma reportedly tied the knot in the year 2000 when she was 22. She felt this was going to be her happily ever after but that just wasn’t the case.
“I thought I married him for life. For me, it was only him, my kids, and my work! I always felt that I had it all sorted”- she mentioned while speaking to SWNS recently. At first, she claims that her marriage was never bad at the start.
But just a few years later, she soon realized that her relationship with her partner was really going downhill and something needed to be done.
After staying in such a relationship for so long, her partner decided to call it quits and opted to send her a divorce. She was devastated as this was not what she or any woman would ever want.
She really did everything to make her marriage work but all she got, in the end, was a divorce and this really had her shocked beyond words.
While she did sulk for quite some time, she knew it was not worth it. The divorce actually proved to be a huge blessing in disguise for her. She stopped caring for a man that had zero regards for her.
She started to work on her lifestyle, her look, and her own happiness. Now, she was putting herself first and not anyone else. This was a completely new person and it wouldn’t be wrong to say that without any surgeries, she’s never looked better. “Divorce really did do me good!”- she adds.
