Singer Miley Cyrus is paying a heavy price in case she’s found guilty of the shocking allegations brought up against her.
This includes copying a hit track by Bruno Mars called Flowers which has won the star numerous accolades.
As per documents attained by TMZ, Cyrus’ smash song shares a lot of musical similarities to their hit number from 2012 called When I Was Your Man.
According to the investment platform which says they own a share of the hit number by Mars’, Cyrus stole the song without giving any credit. Therefore, she should be penalized.
They spoke about how the chorus, harmony, chord, and melody are so similar, not to mention lyrics of the song were taken intentionally.
The news did take a lot of people by surprise. After all, the Flowers song is quite famous around the globe. Seeing Mars not being named a plaintiff in the filing was questionable to some as well.
Reps are yet to respond to comments on this matter. But the news is major as the star did get a lot of fame for this number including a Grammy and Artist of the Year and Song of the Year.
The song is rumored to be the best breakup song to date and was dedicated to her former lover Liam Hemsworth.
