Rapper Busta Rhymes is all set to be honored with the prestigious lifetime achievement award this year at the BET Awards.

The news has made fans and followers of the celeb extremely happy and excited while many began pouring in love and best wishes on the auspicious occasion.

The Break Ya Neck rapper would be getting his honorable award in Los Angeles by June 25. Moreover, this hip-hop titan will get recognition at this year’s BET ceremony and that’s where he would be recognized for his impact as a leading rapper, songwriter, and also a top-notch record producer.

Similarly, the 51-year-old will now be taking the stage to celebrate this massive legacy and be at the top of the game in terms of huge names of recognizable talent in the industry.

It has been mentioned how several other leading nominees for 2023 would be performing live at this ceremony and that includes the likes of rapper Ice Spice, D-Nice, Jeezy, and YG.

This honor marks the star’s 7th BET award which happens to be his first in a span of 12 years. The most recent one had to do with the star winning plenty of trophies with Chris Brown and Lil Wayne.

Rhymes has also taken some more time out to work on his own personal life. And that includes him documenting his progress related to a weight loss journey.

He says that losing weight is not only linked to his music but something that he’d like to take on to protect and provide for his family and other individuals that play an integral role in his life.

“I was always raised to protect and provide for my family and my people. And I do not know how to be any other way”- he continued.
