Terrifying reports have confirmed the death of a pilot after his plane crashed onto a busy motorway on Tuesday near Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
The flyer was said to be taking lessons with Breda Aviation Flight School when it was confirmed on Facebook that one of the pilots was killed in the tragedy.
They also mentioned how there was one person aboard the aircraft that was described as an Aquila plane.
The incident arose near Breda about 37 miles from Rotterdam. Meanwhile, horrifying footage was captured by passersby where plumes of smoke continued to arise from the burning wreckage.
Motorists were forced to pull over to the road’s side after the shocking and uneventful tragedy. Meanwhile, one vehicle was also said to be involved in the crash.
There was smoke and sirens everywhere as the local radio news was quick to warn people to avoid the area as an A58 crashed near Breda Airport.
The flight school confirmed the news that one of its Aquila’s went down and the pilot died in the incident. For now, the exact cause of the accident is yet to be known. But they are grateful for the love and compassion shown by the public during this difficult time.
