Carol Burnett was spotted with her husband and friends as they celebrated her 90th birthday in California.

The 90-year-old actress, singer, and comedian, who is best known for hosting her variety program ‘The Carol Burnett Show’ from 1967 to 1978, was caught on camera while enjoying her outing at one of her favorite restaurants in Montecito.

Keeping her birthday celebration low-key, Burnett was accompanied by her husband and four friends for lunch at Lucky’s.

In photos shared by DailyMail.com, the actress is seen sporting an all-black ensemble with a grey sweater over it. The actress put on a wide smile and waved to the camera upon exiting the restaurant.

Meanwhile, a member of her group was spotted carrying A Little Golden Book Biography titled Carol Burnett which tells the short version of the actress’s life story.

On the way back to her Mercedes, Carol was accompanied by her husband, Brian Miller, who was supporting her as they made their way to the parking lot.

According to the eyewitnesses, Carol and her group enjoyed several courses at the restaurant while chatting, laughing, and toasting to the birthday girl.

At one point, the group also sang the Happy Birthday song as a small piece of cake with a candle on it was brought out for the celebrant.

It is believed that the group spent some three hours in the restaurant before taking their leave.

Outside the restaurant, stunned visitors couldn’t help but contain their excitement over the comedian’s rare public appearance.

“Happy Birthday Carol, we love you!” one fan told Carol to which she responded by saying “That’s sweet.”

“Oh my God, I wanted to go up to her but she was eating,” another baffled customer said.
