Cassie Ventura is sharing a very emotional side of herself after breaking her silence for the first time since the abusive P Diddy footage came out.
In that shocking surveillance footage, the singer can be seen being abused in the most horrifying manner by rapper P.Diddy who happened to be her boyfriend at the time.
The rapper kicked her, hit her, and even went as far as to drag her around and pull her hair. She still managed to come out of all that and appear for a public event, despite being covered in bruises all over.
The shocking domestic violence and the nature of abuse have been condemned throughout the industry with many calling the rapper out as a complete monster who felt it was alright to behave with a woman in this manner.
P.Diddy is currently fighting a number of lawsuits and another former model has also come forward with another legal case where she spoke about him drugging her and then assaulting her without her consent.
Cassie says she was in a very dark place at that moment in time and hopes that no one ever has to go through what she just had. “It broke me into a person that I never was. This was just scary and to relive any of that by looking at this video is just traumatizing”- she continued.
She is grateful for all the love and support she has attained from fans and the industry and hopes one day, justice can be served.
