Beyonce’s latest country album cover has been making the rounds and it’s safe to say that not many people are impressed.
This includes Erykah Badu who feels the Queen of RnB is going into unchartered territory with this new act.
The hitmaker who is known for tracks such as Window Seat did not waste any time to have her say on the matter and ask Jay-Z to intervene because it was about time. She’s never been a fan of country music and feels that Beyonce telling the world that she’s launching a new country album is bizarre.
The 32-time Grammy winner showed how her limited edition vinyl cover for her eighth studio album put the celeb in all kinds of poses including nudity and long beaded braids. The attire and theme being followed were not impressive to many who felt the time had come to speak out.
Badu was not happy and she even reposted that same cover across her social media account adding, it’s time Jay-Z said something.
While many are not sure which part of the album’s cover struck her nerve and made her upset, it’s clear that she’s not in the mood to let it go. What do you think?
