Singer Celine Dion’s sister has just made the most devastating health update regarding the iconic singer.

Claudette Dion confirmed through the most heartbreaking post how the superstar’s battle with Stiff Person Syndrome has now taken a new turn that not many of them had hoped for.

Speaking for an interview with Canada’s 7 Jours, she explained how the music icon has lost complete control over her muscles per reports from the Daily Mail. This has led to a very debilitating condition which continues to get worse with time, she adds.

While talking to the outlet, she added how it’s devastating how the events continue to unfold negatively while many had hoped for the exact opposite.

She similarly shed light on how her sister has been an absolute fighter throughout her life and has worked so hard to achieve her dreams, making her family and friends so proud.

Dion always wished to do things the right way and properly. She never took any shortcuts in life and to see her end up this way is just devastating, the star’s sister added.

While the outlook does not appear too great right now, the singer’s wish is to somehow perform her music for fans again. She keeps telling all those around her to pray and wish her well because she still has it in her to fight and prove to the world that this is another obstacle that must be overcome.

In December 2022, the star was left with no choice but to cancel the rest of her Courage World Tour, citing poor health conditions.

Dion is currently suffering from a debilitating neurological disorder that’s incurable and affects one’s muscles. This entails both her heart as well as her vocal cords, as they’re both muscles in the world of science.

The fact that the disease affects only a few number of people means very little research has been done on it by scientists who are yet to find a cure for it, she painstakingly explained.
