Celine Dion has warned and mocked Donald Trump for playing the famous Titanic theme song at a campaign rally without obtaining the star’s permission.
Her voice was heard loud over the speakers at Trump’s recent rally in Montana where the hit classic track, ‘My Heart Will Go On’ was played for a short while. This was right before Trump took the stage on Friday.
Dion mentioned on Saturday how the use of video, recording, music performance, and the singer’s likeness was unauthorized.
‘In no way shape or form is this use authorized and Celine Dion is not happy. She does not endorse this or anything similar to this- the statement by the star’s management team mentioned, alongside the label Sony.
Dion then chose to mock former US President Donald Trump, adding that out of all the songs in the world, they chose ‘that one’ to represent him and his party.
The epic ballad that conjures pictures of a doomed shape hitting a massive iceberg, which is not the best comparison to a campaign belonging to the president, had people joking and some shocked.
Even worse is how the tune was played a few hours after Trump’s plane made a diversion to Billings while it was en route to Bozeman over a technical issue.
