One mother is on a unique mission to alter beauty standards and she’s planning on doing that by drawing thick eyebrows across her face.
You may have thought you’d seen it all in terms of fashion trends but one woman is giving the world a new mix of beauty and meets boldness with her giant eyebrows.
On a daily basis, the mother says she gets plenty of weird looks from strangers who can’t comprehend why she would even engage in such behavior. But this mother named Sammie-Jo Hailford has managed to gain nearly 150,000 followers through her social media account on TikTok for this very same reason.
“I’m doing everything in my power to try and change the beauty industry and the ridiculous standards that it has.
I’m tired of the same old classic look. Things need to be changed for the better, there needs to be something that screams unique and I think I’ve got it with my thick and bold eyebrows!”- the mom adds.
So much of her viral online content is related to her drawing in her giant black eyebrows and so far, it’s really got so many people fascinated.
Today, the 27 years old mom sat down and explained why she chooses to engage in such behavior in the first place.
“I just don’t agree with today’s beauty standards. It is having a negative impact on people’s mental health. Women need to realize that they don’t have to fit into a particular trend. They can do what they love and feel comfortable in. It’s about self-expression and loving yourself!”- the bold mom explained.
She’s even started her own beauty movement called BROWS which are the initials for Beauty Redefined or We Suffer. How’s that for some extreme uniqueness?
