“How Dare You!”- Furious Eddie Murphy SLAMS David Spade For ‘Cheap Shot’ Racist Joke About Him


Eddie Murphy seems to be rehashing some very old memories with David Spade, leading to an explosion of a years old feud between the celebs in Hollywood.

The star called out the leading comedian for a joke that was mentioned by Spade while appearing at a Star Night Live event in 1995.

The outburst of emotions came during an interview where the actor mentioned how he was not okay with how that live comedy skit went down.

During the period, Murphy was said to be reeling from the poor career choices that he made. His Vampire in Brooklyn movie ended up flopping at the box office. ‘Look children, it’s a falling star, make a wish’- was the joke Spade made.

During an interview with The New York Times, he explained how the joke made towards him was not only personal but racist and it was not necessary during a time when he was experiencing the worst of lows.

“I thought it was such a cheap shot. I felt it was also racist and not needed during that time. Why would you or anyone go so low”- the star revealed. He similarly slammed the show’s producers for allowing that remark to go on air, mentioning how the jab took a toll on him.
