One mom is opening up more about how she was criticized for deciding on her baby’s birthmark.
Speaking more about the topic in a recent interview, she says that no one knows more about what’s best for their kids than the parents themselves. Therefore, when she asked doctors what was the best possible remedy to rid her child’s birthday that covered more than half of his face, she was informed about lasers.
Her son has a port wine stain, another name for a large birthmark covering more than 50% of his whole face. She quizzed the doctors about whether or not it was safe and if there were any side effects.
After being provided with all of the necessary information, she was relieved that such technology does exist in today’s day and age where you can be carefree and carry on with such procedures without breaking a sweat.
But not all parents are happy with the decision. She has been dubbed as being a monster and for using her child as a trial for all kinds of esthetical procedures.
“I disagree, I know this is not something that my child would like to see while growing up. The world today is evil and it’s astonishing how much people are judged upon, based on how they appear”- she adds.
The huge PWS is deemed to be harmless but the giant size and color do leave onlookers worried and curious about what’s on the face. So that is the main reason why the mom chose to go ahead with it.
“I get trolled all the time. Be it friends loved ones or strangers. People just fail to listen and think their child should be able to choose to have it removed if necessary, when he’s older. However, as a child, she shouldn’t be using laser treatment in the first place. What do you think?
