Leading celebrity chef Michael Chiarello’s death has led to massive confusion and now that the cause has been explained, people are in a dilemma.
Sources from local media outlets were quick to speak about how the star suffered from a massive allergic reaction as revealed by the Napa Country’s coroner’s office.
He claimed how the star stuffed a mighty allergic reaction that set off a range of events in the form of an anaphylactic shock. This led to Chiarello suffering a huge cardiac arrest as explained in a recently published report by media outlet TMZ.
The world-famous cooking expert died on October 7 at the age of 61, leaving loved ones devastated. This is not something that many people saw coming by miles, another insider mentioned.
For now, it’s not known what exactly led to the star’s allergic reaction but doctors were able to restart his heart after he landed at Queen of Valley Medical Center which happens to be located in California.
Soon after that, he succumbed to encephalopathy which is the medical term reserved for brain dysfunction, one source added. This happens when the brain suffers from a lack of oxygen-rich blood flow that may have been shut while he suffered from this huge attack.
Among the findings mentioned, Chiarello’s body also had cocaine present in the system, due to usage of the drug before. This finding of a stimulant in the body is deemed to be a significant condition.
However, the coroner’s office has stressed the fact that the death did not ensue due to the overdose of the drug.
It was in fact brought on due to the allergic reaction which again is so questionable. For now, it’s not at all clear as to what may have occurred and if such an event arose due to allergens present inside food or not like insect bite.
Michael would certainly have a vast knowledge about the different kinds of foods present in today’s world as that was his passion and profession. However, sources revealed how allergies can arise with time and build up in a similar manner after exposure taking place for years.
