6-Year-Old Child DENIED Passport Because She’s Named After Leading ‘Game Of Thrones’ Character

One young girl was recently denied her passport because of her name. The latter is reminiscent of a popular character from the Game of Thrones, her mom explained.

Speaking out about the incident, the mother from the United Kingdom mentioned how devastated she felt that this sort of behavior would ensue over her child’s name.

She explained how she was always fascinated by the show and so got inspired by the name Khaleesi. Little did she know that she was setting her child up for trouble in the future.

The mother who hails from South West England shed light on how her daughter’s initial application for a passport was denied. Officials informed her that the name wouldn’t be approved unless she got approval from Warner Brothers to use their trademark.

The incident has the child’s parents in a dilemma. Never in a million years did they imagine they would have to go through something of this sort as this was their first holiday trip together as a family. They were planning a dream vacation to Disneyland in Paris but that does not seem to be happening anytime soon.
