Viral footage has been released showing sobbing children being detained in Russia for taking flowers to the Ukrainian Embassy.
Local media reports confirmed how the children were as young as seven with the eldest being 11 years old. But that did not stop evil Russian officials from detaining them behind bars for as long as several hours.
The tragic incident is said to have taken place in the Russian capital city of Moscow as the kids could be seen taking the flowers to lay towards Ukraine’s embassy.
Viral images soon came through showcasing the three primary-age kids sitting at the back of a police station in Moscow as they await their fate patiently.
One young girl was seen breaking down into tears on Tuesday as she sat towards the van’s back.
Many around the globe began to share the picture online as it started to make viral rounds on social media.
Moreover, others went as far as mentioning how this was a prime example of the dictatorship behavior displayed by Russian President Putin as the hashtag ‘Putin’s Russia’ began to be widely used condemning this recent act.
It was clear to so many people how these children intended no harm and just wished for peace with flowers but the message was not accepted by Russian forces who blatantly slammed the kids.
The news comes as other reports revealed how two women would also be facing trial but their charges remain unspecified.
Some other images from the incident showed the kids holding signs that boldly stated: “No to War”.
Other sources spoke about how the Russian police officers mentioned to the women how they planned to strip them of their children’s custody for the act and for that reason these parents are living in fear.
