As the conflict between Russia and Ukraine enters its third week, tensions seem to be running high in other parts of the world as China blames the US and NATO for Putin’s invasion.
According to local media reports, the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson shed light upon how the US and NATO were the real culprits of the current war and devastation taking place.
Moreover, China also accused them of pushing Russia to a point of breaking point while the nation continues to watch the conflict intensify from a distance.
The news comes despite the fact that the Community nation is yet to be a part of many other countries who condemned Putin’s barbaric acts that have killed so many innocent civilians.
However, China did refer to the current situation as deeply worrying and concerning while wanting to take a major lead in the ongoing negotiations between both sides.
Other reports revealed how China is having some trouble in strategically deciding which side to pick in the ongoing war as it currently holds diplomatic ties with both.
But experts believe these harsh comments coming from China for both the US and NATO clearly indicate their support for Russia and also indirectly support Russian President Vladimir Putin’s claims that the war was actually begun by NATO.
“It should be of no confusion that China’s position on the current war is very clear and consistent,”- the Chinese Foreign Spokesperson revealed.
Meanwhile, when he was questioned about whether or not China was at the moment ready to label the ongoing war as an invasion by Russia, he boldly replied: “I don’t think this question is of any point”.
