That might have to do with the fact that she is battling a serious health condition called MS and ever since the diagnosis, the starlet has talked in detail about how much it has ended up affecting her life.
The 12-year-old accompanied her mother who struggled to walk alone without the help of a stick. But she still put on a brave face and carried on with a graceful smile across her face that had fans in absolute praise.
The 12-year-old child named Sadie Grace was the celeb’s lookalike daughter. She really held on close to her mother as she knew this moment was going to be major for her.
It was lovely for many to see this mother-daughter bond take center stage as people embraced the celeb including a heartfelt picture with superstar Julia Roberts.
The stunner was seen looking classy and sassy in a tailor-fitted tuxedo-style outfit. She also held on to a cane that had the words ‘F**k You MS’ printed across it in bold terms.
This is accompanied by a bedazzled red colored heart. For this special occasion, the Emmy winner could be seen cutting out her startling figure in the velvet-styled attire. She had a little bit of a somber appeal across her face but she tried her best to keep her spirits high.
The star has been nominated for Outstanding Performance by a female actor in a comedy series and the fact that this was her last high-profile event meant that it really carried a special significance in her heart.
