A restaurant owner in Greater Manchester is hitting back at a diner who accused his restaurant of serving a meal that ruined his Christmas holiday.
Rick Aprino visited the famous Ruposhi Indian Bar and Restaurant with his wife and children, hoping to have a fabulous time with some great food and company. But little did they know that the restaurant was not serving up the classic Christmas roast on their menu, despite the festive occasion.
For this reason, Rick gave in and placed an order for the two Indian-themed platters for the adults, while for the kids, he ordered two entrees of chicken as his kids wanted a classic Christmas dinner.
But what came was far from what he had expected.
He claims that the restaurant went ahead and served his kids chicken with french fries, alongside a half-sized fried tomato too, instead of a traditional Christmas meal. Furious as ever, the father made sure the restaurant would remember him for a long time and that’s when he wrote a horrible review about the food on Facebook.
“It was an absolute farce of a restaurant who ruined Christmas dinner for our young children, all thanks to this one establishment,” he blasted on both Facebook as well as Tripadvisor.
But that review did not sit down too well with the manager either. He says that he was beyond perplexed as his restaurant was never doing classic Christmas dinners in the first place so to expect something of that sort was ridiculous.
“We always wish to please our customers but we give them options. And out of all of those options on the menu, he chose chicken and chips,” the furious manager revealed.
The manager also says that he had more than 80 diners that day and one even left him a 5-star review. Therefore, to see such negative feedback for no reason was beyond appalling.
