George Clooney has recently been slammed for having the audacity to call the White House and complain about the mannerism in which his wife was treated by President Biden.
The leading Hollywood actor slammed the country’s head of state for attacking his wife Amal Clooney who is a leading Human Rights Lawyer.
She tried to raise her voice on the highly controversial matter linked to prosecuting Israel’s Prime Minister.
Amal even went about signing a new bid by the head of the ICC to attain an arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu, other than those linked to Hamas leaders for the growing figures of war crimes taking place.
This was an action that Biden believed was beyond outrageous, taking a lot of people by surprise. But Clooney feels he has the right to defend his wife in all regards and that’s why he did indeed make a phone call to the White House to discuss the issue.
The comments made by Biden sparked a new kind of fury in Amal’s husband who rang up Biden’s senior counselor Steve Ricchetti to make the complaint as mentioned by the Washington Post.
The behavior of the actor met with extreme backlash from many who felt he was overstepping boundaries and therefore needed to put the brakes on it when it came to his wife’s decisions and dealings.
“Who elected him?”- added one enraged user on X while another agreed. Others called out the celeb as an entitled Hollywood elite throwing tantrums because things didn’t quite go in his direction. Many others felt he was not doing his wife any favors as she was well capable of fighting her own battles. Do you agree?
